About this site
Daliocr writes about Chinese AI tools for people who are not in China: which model to call, what it actually costs, how the APIs behave when you use them from outside the country, and which workflow habits are worth copying.
Why write about this
A lot of practical knowledge about DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi and the surrounding tooling gets written in Chinese, on Chinese platforms, and never travels. Not because it is low quality — because the people writing it are busy using the tools. This site exists to carry that practical layer across, with the numbers and gotchas intact.
Who writes it
Every guide here is written and signed off by a named person, seki. I run self-hosted services day to day and pay these API bills myself, which is where most of these notes come from.
How a guide gets made
- Pricing, model names and limits are read from the vendor's own documentation, never from a search result. Each table carries the date it was checked.
- Anything claimed to work was run. If a number is estimated rather than measured, the text says so.
- Drafts are assisted by the models being written about. The factual layer — prices, flags, output shapes — is verified by hand before publishing, and a human owns the mistakes.
- When a vendor renames a model or changes a rate, the post gets an updated date rather than a quiet rewrite.
Tell me I am wrong
Chinese AI tooling moves faster than any site can track. If a price here is stale or a method stopped working, that is a bug and I want the report. hello@daliocr.cn
